Maps and places in the game
a Bit SaiGon has a growing set of maps, each one a kitchen with its own menu, layout and rules. This page explains how maps are organised, how they unlock and how to read the map picker.
Maps are grouped by place
The map picker lists places in a column on the left; pick one to see its maps. Maps not assigned to any place are gathered under Other at the end of the list.
Each map card shows its difficulty (1 to 5), the map’s menu, and the team score needed for 1, 2 and 3 stars at your room’s player count.

How a locked map opens
Every map plays a little differently
Not every map works the same way. Differences you will run into:
- Length: some maps run about two minutes, some up to four.
- Capacity: most maps seat 4, maps with a bigger kitchen seat 5 or 6.
- Plates: some maps hand out clean plates automatically, others run a plate-and-sink system — dirty plates must be washed, and serving one to a customer is penalised.
- Customers: some maps only have a serving counter, others have tables where VIP customers sit and wait.
- Orders: on some maps a customer orders a main and a side together.
- Chopping: on some maps a few ingredients only chop while the chef stays at the board.
Three stars, and beyond
A map’s stars come from the team score, and the targets change with the number of people in the room. The XP you earn equals the team score, even past three stars.
When a partner promotion is running, three-starring the promoted map can earn a voucher you redeem in real life — one per registered account per promotion.
Frequently asked questions
How many maps are there?
The number grows with each update, so it keeps changing. The in-game map picker always shows every map available, including ones about to open.
Why does a map show "Opens in" with a countdown?
It is scheduled to open at a set time. You can still look at its details, and when the countdown reaches zero it opens without reloading the page.
Who picks the map in a room?
The host. A map can only be picked once its unlock conditions are met, and starting a match is blocked if the map has not opened yet.
